In 1898 our founders secured their first precious shipment of sherry casks from the finest bodegas in Spain. Now over 100 years later, Tamdhu matures its whisky exclusively in the finest Oloroso sherry casks. Nothing less. It's one of the hardest and most expensive ways to mature whisky, not to mention it limits the amount of precious spirit we can produce. So why do we do it that way? Tasting Notes:
Rich and enticing; iced cinnamon rolls, orange boiled sweets, fresh sweet oak with raisins and a faint hint of mint. Silky texture that coats the mouth with banana, berry jam, malt biscuit and classic sherry oak depth.
