The Glengoyne Distillery is situated in a wooded valley in the southern Highlands of Scotland close to a small river that flows into the famous Loch Lomond. The distillery, which takes its name from 'Glen Guin' or Glen of the Wild Geese, has been producing exceptional an single malt scotch whisky since 1833. Today, Glengoyne is one of the few distilleries producing whisky in this part of Scotland. It has continued to produce scotch whisky by using the same traditional methods and basic ingredients

Tasting Notes:
This spirit has developed a fruity, sweet quality - a hallmark characteristic of all Glengoyne whiskies, as influenced by Cochrane. On the palate, discover a rich flavor profile of sweet sherry, vanilla and dried fruits. Add a drop or two of water to reveal bold, spicy notes that linger on into a long, balanced finish. Deep amber. Full and rich, sticky toffee pudding with dates and vanilla custard, warm pear and cinnamon. Mouth coating and thick; layers of sweet, fruity sherry notes over gentle oak with sultanas and vanilla. Dried fruits and spice linger in a long, balanced finish.
