EL SILENCIO MEZCAL UMBRA 86

A three ingredient beautiful artisanal expression from Mezcal El Silencio: Perfectly ripped Agaves; Espad n (sweet, light smoke) and Tobal (earth, mineral). The third ingredient (endemic to Oaxaca) is used to bring personality to the product, staying true to traditional local sourced ingredients and its artisanal process. A natural dye made from the crushing and fermentation of the jiquilite (indigofera plant), this plant is sourced at a Zoque community in the eastern area of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. It is very limited, and the only place in Oaxaca where this dye is produced.
