Alma Tepec ("Soul Mountain") is the first Mexican ancestral chile liqueur handmade from smoke-dried Pasilla Mixe chiles grown in the remote Sierra Mixe mountains of Oaxaca. Rich and savory notes of smoke-dried red fruits, chocolate, sweet spices and caramel followed by a warm lingering heat on the finish reveal the reason the rare Pasilla Mixe chiles are coveted by chefs around the world. Grown according to ancient tradition and custom, the chiles are rarely found outside of the region in which they are grown.
